X-rays

Routine x-rays are an excellent way to detect cavities and other oral diseases before they can be seen visually. At Gangwisch Dental Group, we utilize digital x-rays which allows a minimal amount of radiation to be used. If cavities get so large that they can be seen with the naked eye, then they will probably require extensive dental treatment to salvage the tooth.

We place a special emphasis on treating patients who are apprehensive about dental treatment. Using modern pain control techniques, including nitrous oxide and conscious sedation, fear of the dentist is now a thing of the past.

The achievement of board certification is the culmination of years of rigorous study and testing in all aspects of general dentistry. The board certification process involves taking a written examination that must demonstrate knowledge in all aspects of dentistry. Then, the candidate must complete an arduous oral examination covering all specialties of dentistry and present actual cases performed by the candidate.
